In Reddit Ads, open Events Manager → Conversions API. A business admin can generate a conversion access token. Setup guide
Add the workflow action
- In the workflow action picker, choose Installed apps → Conversions for Reddit → Send Reddit Conversion.
- Select the event type and where the conversion happened. Use CUSTOM with a neutral custom name when appropriate.
- Map a stable Conversion ID for this outcome, such as an order ID. Use the same ID for retries and the corresponding browser Pixel event.
- Map email, E.164 phone, Reddit Click ID (rdt_cid), external ID, or customer IP plus user agent.
- For testing, copy the test ID from Reddit Events Manager → Event Testing. Run with a synthetic contact and verify the event there. Remove Test ID for live workflows.
Test and live sends have separate duplicate records. Confirmed repeats are suppressed for 48 hours within the same account, Pixel, event type and action source.
Verify your mapping
Validate only sends nothing. To send a test request, enter the test ID shown in Reddit Event Testing. Leaving Test ID blank sends a live event.
